LAWRENCE: Police blotter

   A Drift Avenue resident reported the theft of three motorcycles, worth a combined $2,600, from a locked shed in the back yard of his home that occurred between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. Jan. 27. The thief forced his way into the shed.
   Vincenzo A. Lubrano, 19, of Jill Lane, and Deep B. Patel, 18, of Fountayne Lane, were charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after a motor vehicle stop at 6:03 p.m. Jan. 27 on Princeton Pike. Mr. Lubrano was also charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle and having tinted windows on his car. The two were released on summonses.
   Two Trenton boys, ages 14 and 16, were charged with shoplifting clothing worth $140 from Lord & Taylor at the Quaker Bridge Mall at 6:04 p.m. on Jan. 26. They were released to their parents’ custody.
   Some scrap metal and an assortment of tools, including excavation tools, a backpack leaf blower and an air compressor, worth a combined $12,000, were reported stolen from three businesses on Shinney Lane that had stored their equipment in sheds and back yards of their businesses. The burglaries occurred between 5:45 p.m. Jan. 24 and 11:30 a.m. Jan. 25.
   Jonilda Agushi, 21, of Lodi, was charged with driving under the influence at 12:56 a.m. on Jan. 24 on Route 206 northbound near Notre Dame High School. She was also charged with driving under the influence in a school zone, careless driving and reckless driving. She was released to a friend’s custody.
   Four bars of Dove soap and four bottles of Dove body wash, worth $75.92, were reported stolen from the CVS drugstore on Brunswick Pike at 7:47 p.m. Jan. 24. A store employee saw a man and a woman enter the store and walk over to the soap aisle, take the items and run from the store.
   A Whitemarsh Drive resident reported the theft of $6,200 worth of jewelry from her home between 9 a.m. Dec. 31 and 9 a.m. Jan. 23. There were no signs of forced entry.
   Deonte J. Porter, 19, and Lisa A. Johnson, 45, both of Trenton, and Sharmane Harper, 39, of Hamilton, were charged with shoplifting clothing valued at $1,250 from Macy’s at the Quaker Bridge Mall at 6:48 p.m. on Jan. 24. Mr. Porter was released on a summons, but the women were taken to the Mercer County Corrections Center on outstanding warrants.
   An assortment of I-phones and laptop tablets worth $4,000 were discovered missing from the Sprint kiosk at the Quaker Bridge Mall during an inventory. The theft occurred between 2 p.m. Jan. 21 and 3 p.m. Jan. 23. There was no sign of forced entry.
   Someone forced open a basement window and entered a Crabapple Lane home between 2:10 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Jan. 24 and stole jewelry valued at $41,000.
   Five containers of deodorant, 15 three-packs of soap, an undetermined amount of toothpaste and batteries were taken by two men who entered the Dollar General store on Brunswick Pike at 3:52 p.m. on Jan. 22. The store manager saw the men enter the store, pick up the items and run out of the store. The items were valued at more than $57.
   William H. Marshall III, 48, of Trenton was charged with shoplifting groceries worth $181.21 from the Halo Farms store on Spruce Street at 6:58 p.m. on Jan. 21. He was taken to the Mercer County Corrections Center when he could not post $500 bail.
   Anne M. McCarthy, 42, of Monmouth Junction, was charged with shoplifting cosmetics and food worth $180.94 from ShopRite at the Mercer Mall at 5:32 p.m. on Jan. 21. She was released on a summons.
   Four glass bongs, valued at $4,000, were discovered to have been stolen from the Wonderland Smoke Shop on Brunswick Pike after police answered a burglar alarm at the store at approximately 2 a.m. on Jan. 21. A rear door was forced open to gain entry.
   Charles E. Borlaug, 19, of Ewing Township, and Maximillian William Schmidt, 18, of Tracey Drive, were charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana at 1:22 a.m. on Jan. 21. Mr. Borlaug was also charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle and improper parking. The two men were released on summonses.
   Jewelry worth more than $33,000 was reported stolen from a West Long Drive home after a burglar forced open a window at the rear of the house to gain entry between 8:30 a.m. and 4:03 p.m. om Jan. 20.
