Bordentown Township Fire District 2 currently employees 12 full- time firefighters who provide a vital around the clock service 24/7, 365 days a year.
Taxpayers of Fire District 2 on average pay $1.13 a day for these professional firefighters, all of whom are certified EMTs.
For a $1.13 per day we are ready and available in seconds any time you need them regardless of the emergency including but not limited to fires (houses, buildings and automobiles.), car accidents, chemical spills, alarm system activations, and medical emergencies.
We also provide free smoke detector(s) replacement, annual smoke detector battery(s) replacement, fire escape plans, home hazard inspections, fire prevention education at our local schools, or for anyone who requests it.
Your firefighters responded to over 950 emergency calls in 2011 and these responses increase every year
Please come out to your local fire station located at 262 Crosswicks Road on Saturday Feb. 18, 2012 from 2 p.m. 9 p.m. and vote YES for the 2012 budget.
