Lenten soup sale: Holy Ghost Church preparing meat-free soups on Fridays through April 6 for the benefit of the church. Soups, Halushki and frozen pirohi will be available a the church at Roosevelt and 6th Avenue. Pickup is from 4- 6 p.m. Soup is $8 per quart, halushki is $6 per quart, frozen pirohi are $6 per dozen. Rabies clinic: The clinic, originally scheduled for Jan. 21 and cancelled due to snow, has been rescheduled from 2 to 5 p.m. at Firehouse No. 3, North 8th Avenue. Dogs and cats can receive a three-year vaccine shot. Sponsored by the Somerset County Department of Health.
Spring sports signups: Borough department will take registrations from 9 a.m.-noon at Weston School for kindergarten soccer, traveling soccer, traveling softball, and instructional baseball and softball.
