Manville 12 Reading Cinemas will sell discounted tickets to military personnel to the “Act of Valor” movie from opening day Friday, Feb. 24, through the run of engagement.
Service members who present a valid military ID at the box office at the theater at 180 N. Main St., Manville, will receive a discounted rate of $8 to any show of “Act of Valor.”
The action adventure film is a blend of real-life heroism and original filmmaking. “Act of Valor” stars a group of active-duty Navy SEAL (sea, air and land) teams in a story of contemporary global anti-terrorism inspired by true events. The film combines combat sequences, up-to-the-minute battlefield technology and heart-pumping emotion.
”Act of Valor” takes audiences into the world of the highly trained group. When the rescue of a kidnapped CIA operative leads to the discovery of a deadly terrorist plot against the United States, a team of SEALs is dispatched on a worldwide manhunt. As Bandito Platoon races to stop a coordinated attack, it must balance its commitment to country, team and its families back home.
