LAMBERTVILLE — A proposed Lambertville budget of $503,735 will go before city voters Saturday, when fire district elections will be held statewide.
The Lambertville fire election will be held at the city’s Justice Center, at 25 N. Union St. Polls will be open from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.
This year’s proposed budget is up slightly from last year’s budget of $4491,285.
If this year’s budget passes, the fire tax rate would go up a very small fraction of a cent over the 2011 fire tax rate of 6.9 cents of $100 of assessed property value.
Running for three-year terms on the Lambertville Board of Fire Commissioners are incumbents Aladar Komjathy and David Morgan.
Chris Kascik is running to complete the last year of an unexpired term. All three candidates are running unopposed.
