WEST WINDSOR: Five women arrested on prostitution charges

   WEST WINDSOR — Five women from Flushing, N.Y. were charged with prostitution-related offenses at 148 Princeton-Hightstown Road on Feb. 15 at approximately 2 p.m.
   Jie Mao, 46, was charged with maintaining a nuisance. Mi Pi, 34, and Kehua Li, 49, were both charged with two counts of prostitution and Yuxiu Tang, 42, and Jiao Li were both charged with loitering to engage in prostitution. Ms. Mao was also charged with loitering to engage in prostitution.
   The women were allegedly running a covert prostitution ring under the guise of a massage-oriented business at the suburban, four-bedroom colonial house, which was advertised in newspaper personal advertisements.
   Residents in the area reported that male patrons were constantly arriving at and leaving the house.
   After receiving numerous complaints from citizens, police engaged in a several month investigation into the prostitution allegations at the house.
   On Feb. 15 at approximately 2 p.m. a search warrant was executed. During the search, police reported that customer ledgers and surveillance equipment were located inside.
   Police seized more than $8,500 in cash, electronic equipment, computer equipment and other items from the premises in addition to two vehicles.
   Police said the investigation into the list of patrons obtained during the search is continuing.
