EAST WINDSOR: Retired teacher to talk ‘tessellations’

   Karen Repka, of East Windsor, will be giving a workshop at the New Jersey Association for Gifted Children’s 21st Annual Conference this March. The conference will take place on March 9 and March 10 at the Crowne-Plaza Somerset-Bridgewater, 110 Davidson Ave., Somerset.
   Ms. Repka recently retired from 25 years of teaching fifth through sixth grades, with 15 years in gifted education, most recently in Metuchen. She has been on the board of NJAGC for 6 years, was co-chair of the NJAGC state conference in 2009, and is presently recording secretary. Ms. Repka will present a workshop for children titled “Tessellations: Where Art and Math Meet.”
