LAMBERTVILLE — The city’s 2012 fire district budget of $503,735 was OK’d by voters Saturday.
There were 18 votes in favor of the budget and 12 against the spending plan.
This year’s budget is up slightly from last year’s budget of $491,285.
The approved budget will bring the fire tax rate up just a fraction of a cent over the 2011 fire tax rate of 6.9 cents of $100 of assessed property value.
Elected to three-year terms on the Lambertville Board of Fire Commissioners were incumbents Aladar Komjathy and David Morgan, who got 30 and 31 votes respectively.
Chris Kascik got 39 votes to complete the last year of an unexpired term.
All three candidates ran unopposed.
