“Being There When Times are Tough-Visiting the Sick and Bereaved” is the second of a three-part series offering community education in issues related to understanding the nuances of providing comfort and caring when dealing with difficult life cycle issues. The program will take place on Sunday, March 11, 2012, at 9:00 AM at Temple Beth El Mekor Chayim. 338 Walnut Avenue, Cranford, NJ.
One of the most challenging aspects of life is being with people when they are in the midst of life’s difficulties. Often, many of us shy away from visiting others because we are afraid of saying or doing the wrong thing. Utilizing Torah sources and his chaplaincy experiences, Rabbi Bryan Kinzbrunner, Chaplain of The Martin and Edith Stein Hospice, will address issues that arise when visiting the sick and making Shiva visits.
Join Rabbi Bryan Kinzbrunner as he helps guide us to a better understanding of ways to bring comfort to those we love and care about in times of their greatest need. Don’t miss this opportunity to explore simple ways to be there for people when they need us the most.
Breakfast will be served. Kosher Dietary Laws will be observed. The program is sponsored jointly by the Chesed Connection of Temple Beth El Mekor Chayim in Cranford, Congregation Anshe Chesed in Linden, andThe Martin and Edith Stein Hospice. Please RSVP by March 5, 2012 to 908-276-9231 or email us at [email protected] there is no fee for the program.
