   Lambertville City Police Department reported:
   — Nicholas Patterson, 24, of Lambertville, was taken into custody on an active warrant on March 1 by Sgt. Robert Brown at the Patterson residence at 10:10 p.m. The warrant had been issued by the Lambertville Municipal Court, in the amount of $1,000 for failure to appear on DUI charges. Mr. Patterson was later released on his own recognizance with a pending court date.
    Lt. Stephen J. Bartzak, commanding officer, West Amwell Township Police Department , reported:
   — On Feb. 21 at 3:55 p.m., police began an investigation into the theft of approximately 20 gallons of diesel fuel from a vehicle. Edward McElroy, of Rock Road West, reported that the fuel was siphoned from one of his vehicles sometime between Feb. 14 and 16. Patrolman Edward Skillman is investigating.
   — On Feb. 21 at 11:12 a.m., police investigated a one-vehicle accident on Brunswick Pike (Route 518) near Corsalo Road. Joseph Tedesco, 49, of Kendall Park, was driving east when he swerved to avoid a deer, left the roadway, sideswiping a utility pole. His vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven after a report was taken by Patrolman John Casella. No summonses were issued.
   — On Feb. 22 at approximately 1 p.m., police responded to a residential burglary in the 1400 block of Route 179. Entry was forced through a rear door while the homeowner was away from the residence. A small amount of jewelry was taken (unknown value at this time). Police are attempting to locate a vehicle described as a Red sports car, driven by a white man, that was seen in the area prior to the burglary. Police once again are urging residents to be vigilant of their surroundings and immediately report suspicious persons and/or vehicles to police by dialing 911 or 609-397-1100. Patrolman Jonathan Sellner, along with detectives from the Hunterdon County prosecutor’s office (Criminal Investigation Section), are investigating.
   — On Feb. 23 at approximately 6:37 p.m., police went to a car/deer accident on Route 29 near Old River Road. Cynthia Kirchner, 55, of West Amwell, was driving north when her vehicle struck the deer. No injuries were reported. The vehicle was driven from the scene after a report was taken by Patrolman Jeffrey Jones.
   — On Feb. 23 at approximately 10:28 p.m., Patrolman Todd Pantuso took Dawn Hermann, 46, of Catasaqua, Pennsylvania, into custody for suspected driving while intoxicated. She was stopped on Route 31 just south of the Route 202 overpass for speeding. Subsequently it was determined she was under the influence of alcoholic beverages and in possession of a soda and an alcoholic beverage mix in a soda bottle. She was processed, issued summonses for driving while intoxicated, possession of an open container of alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle and speeding. She was released into the custody of a friend.
   — On Feb. 24 at approximately 11:46 a.m., Patrolman Casella took Ronald Prichard, 73, of Woodslands, Texas, into custody for an outstanding traffic warrant after being stopped for speeding on Route 202. A computer check revealed that Mr. Prichard was wanted by Bridgewater Township Municipal Court for failure to appear on a traffic summons. He was processed, posted $122 cash bail and was released after being issued a summons for speeding.
   — On Feb. 24 at 1 p.m., police went to a burglary of a commercial building on the Toll Brothers property in the 1400 block of Route 179. Entry was forced to a storage garage via a side door that was locked. The management was still conducting inventory to determine if anything had been stolen. Patrolman Skillman is investigating.
   — On Feb. 24 at approximately 4:01 p.m., police responded to a reported moving van blocking the passage of a school bus on Corsalo Road. Three men were identified as being associated with the moving van. One was observed, upon arrival of police, allegedly making improper comments directed at the bus driver. A computer check revealed that one of the individuals was wanted on a failure to appear traffic warrant of out Trenton Municipal Court. Patrolman Casella took Carlos Alberto Santiago, 41, of Trenton, into custody, He was processed and released after posting $200 cash bail.
   — On Feb. 24 at 7:10 p.m., police went to a car/deer accident on Route 29 near Old River Road. Gordon Gray, 70, of Stockton, was driving south when his vehicle struck the deer. No injuries were reported. The vehicle was driven from the scene after a report was taken by Patrolman Skillman.
   — On Feb. 25 at approximately 2:27 a.m., Officer Skillman took Miguel A. Jones, 29, of Hillsborough, into custody for suspected driving while intoxicated. He was stopped after being seen driving erratically on Route 179 northbound near the Route 202 overpass. He was processed, issued summonses for driving while intoxicated, failure to maintain lane control and reckless driving. He was released into the custody of a friend.
   — On Feb. 26 at approximately 9:40 a.m., police investigated a reported unwanted person at a public entity allegedly harassing another individual on Rocktown-Lambertville Road. After speaking to parties involved, Officer Casella took Edward Kerr Jr., 50, of Ewing, into custody for suspected driving while intoxicated. It was determined he was the unwanted party and had driven to the location. He was processed, issued summonses for driving while intoxicated, driving while suspended and operating a motor vehicle in violation of ordered interlock device. He was lodged in the Hunterdon County Jail in default of $1,000 cash bail.
   — On Feb. 27 at approximately 6:17 a.m., police responded to a report of a single truck accident on Route 31 southbound, just north of the Linvale Road intersection. Wayne Rasavale, 55 of Morrisville, Pennsylvania, was operating a International Fuel Truck owned by New Jersey Transit. The truck left the roadway, entered a ditch, hit an embankment and then hit and broke a utility pole. The southbound lane was closed for approximately two hours while recovery crews extricated the truck from the embankment and the State Department of Transportation cleared debris from the roadway.
   Police, along with Amwell Valley Fire Company fire police officers, alternated traffic to leave one lane of travel open. The driver was checked by the Amwell Valley Ambulance Corps. and refused to be transported to a medical facility. Investigating Patrolman Jones determined that the driver had fallen asleep. He was issued summonses for careless driving and failure to exhibit proof of insurance documents.
   — On Feb. 27 at approximately 9:50 p.m., Patrolman Sellner took Benny Carroll, 28, of Clinton, into custody on a failure to appear traffic warrant issued by South Brunswick Municipal Court. Mr. Carroll was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped on Route 31 for a motor vehicle violation. A computer check revealed the active warrant. He was processed and released after posting $319 cash bail.
