Two author presentations are on the library’s schedule for the end of the month.
New Jersey photographer Walter Choroszewski will present an inspirational program March 27 at 1:30 p.m. with stories and photos about an aging Baby Boomer’s pursuit of life’s passions.
At 7 p.m. March 29, author Gordon Thomas Ward presents “A Bit of Earth: Preserving Childhood, History and a Sense of Place,” which will be a tale of anecdotes of youth to inspire reconnections with childhood and the personal voyage of discovery.
Also scheduled, a Kaplan workshop will offer tips to parents and high school students on how to win acceptance into a “first choice” school by knowing what college admissions officers expect from applicants’ high school experiences. Tuesday, March 27, at 7 p.m.

• The AARP Foundation Tax Aide will offer free income tax form preparation help for older taxpayers and people with limited incomes. Representatives will be at the ýPage=002 Column=002 OK,0012.09þ
library from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays, March 12, 19 and 26, and April 2 and 9.
• Two computer training sessions will continue Wednesday, March 21. Registration is required. The library has a limited number of laptops for patrons to use, so register early if you need to use one. Patrons may also bring their own laptops, or just watch the presentation.
Part 2 of Introduction to Microsoft Word 2007 will be held at 2 p.m. Part 2 of Introduction to Microsoft Excel 2007 will be at 3:30 p.m.
• Monday Morning Moms — Programs for mothers and caregivers are offered at 10 a.m. at the library. The topics of discussion come with recommended resources.
• Movie — “The Descendants,” Award winning comedy-drama starring George Clooney, will be shown Friday, March 16, at 7 p.m.
• Parent/teacher workshop: Parents, early childhood educators and caregivers are especially invited to hear psychologist Dr. Steven Gordon, who will provide a approach to problem-solving to help children more effectively develop social skills. Monday, March 26, at 7 p.m.

• Stories for 4’s, 5’s & 6’s — Help your preschool or kindergarten child get ready to read by enjoying stories together and building language skills. Mondays, March 19 and 26, at 1 p.m.
• Early Reader Book Club (kindergarten to grade 2) — Brand-new readers will discuss “Harry and the Lady Next Door” by Gene Zion and make a craft. Tuesday, March 20, at 4 p.m.
• Toddler Time (ages 2-3) — Introduce the pleasure of books to your child! Join us for stories and songs on mice on Tuesday, March 20, and ducks on March 27, both at 10 a.m.
• Rhyme Time (ages newborn to 2) — Join us for 20 minutes of nursery Tuesdays, March 20 and 27, at 10:30 a.m.
• Art Adventures (ages 4-6) — Learn about favorite artists and create a pop art masterpiece in a program about Andy Warhol. Wednesday, March 21, at 10 a.m.
• Garden Club crafts (grades 2-5) — Join the members of the Neshanic Garden Club and create gourd birdhouse. Wednesday, March 21, at 4 p.m.
• Crafts for 4’s, 5’s and 6’s — Make a Dr. Seuss craft with your preschool or kindergarten child. Thursday, March 22, at 10 a.m.
• Anime Club (grades 8-12) — Hang out with your friends and watch anime, discuss the latest manga and more. Thursday, March 22, at 5 p.m.
• PSAT practice test (grades 9-12) — The free Kaplan PSAT Test is designed to prepare students for the exam. Saturday, March 24, at 10 a.m.
• Preschool Book Club — Parents and children ages 3-5 will read books by Audrey and Don Wood and share book-related activities. Wednesday, March 28, at 10 a.m.
