Due to unprecedented interest, the Princeton Community Democratic Organization is moving its endorsement meeting this Sunday to a larger venue.
The endorsements for Princeton mayor and council will now take place at The Jewish Center of Princeton, where the Democratic Party candidates will speak for the first time at a public gathering.
The doors will open at 6 p.m., with the debate program beginning at 6:30. The event is free and open to the public.
Liz Lempert and Kevin Wilkes, the mayoral candidates, will debate first for 30 minutes.
The 10 council candidates will then debate for an hour. The candidates for the six seats are: Jo Butler, Jenny Crumiller, Heather Howard, Lance Liverman, Roger Martindell, Tamera Matteo, Bernie Miller, Yina Moore, Scott Sillars and Patrick Simon.
Voting will take place after the council debate with results announced after the ballots are counted.
Only PCDO members who joined or renewed their membership by March 11 will be able to vote for endorsements.
The Jewish Center is located at 435 Nassau Street between Cedar Lane and Riverside Drive.
