Spring Time in Paris: Fashion Show sponsored by Stein Mart Department Store and Six Mile Run Reformed, 3:00 pm, 3037 Route 27, Franklin Park. Defensive Driving Course Program: Lower your insurance by attending this one-day defensive driving course on Saturday, March 24 from 10:15 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. at the South Brunswick Public Library. Registration required; deadline March 17. A pizza lunch will be provided. This is an official point & insurance reduction program that will benefit the Friends of the Library. Offered by the Defensive Driving Institute of New Jersey and taught by retired police lieutenant/police academy driving instructors. Pre-registration and advance payment required. South Brunswick District Art Gallery: 6-9pm, South Brunswick High School, 750 Ridge Road, Monmouth Junction. Pieces of artwork from students throughout the district will be on display at the District Student Art Gallery. The gallery will be housed in the Annex Gymnasium of the South Brunswick High School and will be open to the public in the evening.
This gallery will feature some of the “best works” of some of our most talented student artists.
Also on that night, the art teachers will be selecting a piece from each K-5 school, two from each middle school, and a few pieces from the high school for inclusion in the School District’s 2012-2013 calendar.
These pieces will be selected prior to the event and will have ribbons placed on them during the evening so that students and their families will find out which pieces have been chosen for this honor.
In addition, there will also be some specially chosen pieces of art on display that link with our South Brunswick Reads book, The Adventures of Alice in Wonderland—the “Alice Collection.” For more information, visit www.sbschools.org.
