SHIVER ME TIMBERS! IT’S A TREASURE HUNT TO BENEFIT TRENTON THUNDER CHARITIES

(TRENTON, NJ) –  On Saturday, May 12, the ship will set sail on the most unique, fun and competitive fundraising event that the Trenton Thunder Baseball team has ever hosted, the Trenton Thunder Charities Treasure Hunt presented by First Choice Bank.
This new event will send participants on excursions throughout Mercer, Burlington and Bucks Counties as they hunt for items on their Treasure Lists. The Hunt will start at Mercer County Waterfront Park at 12:00 pm. Participants will be given a map and a list of items and locations with corresponding point values then depart to begin hunting.  The Treasure Lists will include items that need to be collected (example: a Trenton Thunder hat) and places that need to be visited (example: take a picture of a specific local landmark). The event will conclude with a reception in the Picnic Area at Waterfront Park during the Trenton Thunder vs. Portland Sea Dogs game that night at 7:05pm. The game will feature post-game fireworks presented by First Choice Bank.
There is a $1,000 cash prize for the team that tallies the most points during the hunt. All participants will receive a Trenton Thunder Treasure Hunt T-Shirt and a ticket to the May 12th game with picnic buffet.
The cost to participate is a $25 per person donation to Trenton Thunder Charities and all teams must consist of between two and four members.  Participants can register online at trentonthunder.com or by phone, 609-394-3300 ext 104.  Participants who wish to bring guests to the post-hunt reception during the Thunder game must register their guests in advance and pay $25 for each game/picnic ticket.
Please note that the use of a vehicle and a digital camera are essential to competing in this event and must be provided by the participant.
