Manasquan High School’s Michaela Mabrey, who led the Warriors to the Group II state championship and the NJSIAA Tournament of Champions title, was named the Shore Conference Player of the Year by the Shore Coaches.
St. Rose head coach Joe Roman, whose Purple Roses were the Shore Conference Tournament and Non-Public A state champions, was chosen by his peers as the Coach of the Year.
Mabrey heads the coaches’All-Shore First Team that includes St. Rose’s Samantha Clark and Kasey Chamber, Point Pleasant Boro’s Kelly Hughes and Manasquan’s Katelynn Flaherty.
Second TeamAll-Shore honors went to St. John Vianney’s Kat Egan and Rumson-Fair Haven’s Jess Harvey. They are joined on the team by Manalapan’s Jasmine McCall and Jackson Memorial’s Hannah Missry and Tiffany Montagne.
Kiera Gannon and Jacki Dluhi, who sparked Middletown South to the A North Division title, top theAll-A North Division First Team. Marlboro’s Haley Unger, Freehold Township’s Stephanie Martinex and Manalapan’s McCall complete the First Team. Middletown North’s Maureen Ciccosanit and Emily Lavin, Middletown South’s Carissa Gray, Marlboro’s Brittany Fallon and Freehold Township’s Michelle Johnston are the Second Team picks.
The Co-Coaches of the Year were Ed Jones of Middletown North and Brian Nash of Marlboro.
Egan and Harvey were First Team All-A Central with Holmdel’s Tara Inman and Victoria Cardaci and Matawan’s Lauren Postell.
Second Team went to Rumson’s Zoe Curtis and Hannah Miller, SJV’s Lyndsey Rowe, Shore’s Ellen Dougherty and Matawan’s Montana Bertoli.
The A Central Coach of the Year was Matawan’s Jay Lagomarsino.
In B North, the First Team players are Colts Neck’s Jessie Fifield, Monmouth Regional’s Jazmine Davis, Freehold’s Kim Dana, Red Bank Catholic’s Morgan Arnott and Neptune’s Nahji Carter.
Second Team picks were RBC’s Caroline Corcoran, Freehold’s Cameron Spahn, Colts Neck’s Dawn Mazurkiewicz, and Neptune’s Ivy Harrington and Cydney Mooney.
The Scarlet Fliers’ John Brown was the Coach of the Year.
In B Central, Mater Dei Prep’s Taylor Curtis and Lindsey Florio were First Team picks, and Keyport’s Rachel Trigg made the Second Team.
