Police Lt. Stephen J. Bartzak, commanding officer, West Amwell Township Police Department, reported:
— On March 15 at approximately 5 a.m., a motor vehicle stop for speeding on Route 202 resulted in the arrest of a 44-year-old man from Stirling for a failure to appear traffic warrant. Patrolman John Casella took John M. Monroy into custody after a computer check revealed the warrant, issued by Secaucus Town Municipal Court. He was processed and released after posting $120 cash bail.
— On March 16 at 6:47 p.m., police went to the scenic overlook park on George Washington Road to investigate a report of criminal mischief to a vehicle. Brett Schilling, 22, of Trenton, said he parked his vehicle and upon return found that two tires on the driver’s side had been slashed. Patrolman Jonathan Sellner is investigating.
— On March 16 at approximately 4 p.m., Patrolman Jonathan Sellner arrested Christopher Ginev, 33, of Warrington, Pennsylvania, on a traffic warrant for failure to appear. He was stopped on Route 202 for speeding and a computer check revealed the warrant issued by Pennsauken Township Municipal Court for failure to appear. He was processed, issued motor vehicle summonses for speeding, operating an unregistered vehicle, operating an uninsured vehicle and being unlicensed. He was released after posting $550 cash bail.
— On March 18 at approximately 12:40 a.m., Patrolman Jonathan Sellner arrested Alice Hernandez, 54, of Egg Harbor City, for suspected driving while intoxicated. She was stopped on Route 31 for erratic vehicle operation. Ms. Hernandez was processed, issued summonses for driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and improper use of multiple beam headlamps. She was released into the custody of a friend.
The Lambertville Police Department reported:
— Dario Palacios-Chavez, 30, of Lambertville, was arrested for DUI on March 23 as a result of a motor vehicle stop. Officer Michael Gramlich stopped Mr. Palacios-Chavez on Coryell Street at 2 a.m. after he was seen driving erratically. Mr. Palacios-Chavez was determined to driving under the influence of alcohol and was charged with DUI, reckless driving, unlicensed driver, suspended driving privileges, failure to signal turn and failure to keep right. He was later released with a pending court date.
— Jacqueline Ringel, 25, of New Hope, was arrested for DUI on March 24. Officer Gramlich stopped Ms. Ringel on North Union Street at 2:55 a.m. It was determined that Ms. Ringel was driving under the influence of alcohol. It was also found that she had an active warrant for her arrest for failure to appear in East Amwell on traffic charges. Ms. Ringel was charged with DUI, reckless driving and for being an unlicensed driver. Ms. Ringel was later released after posting $500 bail. She has a pending court date.
— Thomas Griffin, 26, of Bloomfield, was arrested for DUI on March 25. Sgt. Robert Brown stopped Mr. Griffin on Route 202 after he was allegedly seen speeding. Mr. Griffin was determined to be under the influence of alcohol and was charged with DUI, careless driving and speeding. He was later released with a pending court date.
