PRINCETON AREA: Police blotter

Township
   Cluese Smalley, 54, of Newark, was charged with having four outstanding warrants from Roselle Park and Newark on Route 206 on March 27 at 8:10 p.m. The driver was issued a summons for improper maintenance of lamps.
Princeton Borough
   Juanita King, 24, of Trenton, was charged with theft by deception on March 26 at 11:06 a.m. for allegedly stealing $1,412 in jewelry using a stolen credit card at Forest Jewelers on Nassau Street on Feb. 28 at 11 a.m.
Montgomery
   Michael Kubas, 56, of Brick, was in an accident on Cherry Valley Road on March 27 at 12:17 p.m. when his car went off the road and struck several trees. Mr. Kubas was taken to the Helene Fund Medical Center and the road was closed approximately one hour. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, careless driving, failing to maintain a lane and failure to wear a seatbelt.
Plainsboro
   Allied Vision Services and Health Source Chiropractic and Progressive Rehab reported criminal mischief and attempted burglary in Plainsboro Plaza at 10 Schalks Crossing Road between 2 p.m. on March 24 and 11:16 a.m. on March 26. The back door locks were allegedly damaged in the amount of approximately $200.
   Two businesses in Plainsboro Plaza reported criminal mischief between March 25 and March 28 upon discovering the backdoor locks tampered with and filled with glue. Two other businesses in Plainsboro Plaza reported their backdoor locks to be damaged in the same manner on March 26. No items were reported stolen and the cost of damages is unknown.
