Donating blood is a vital part of both inpatient and outpatient medical treatment. Blood is essentially not something the medical establishment can just manufacture, for it requires the individual commitment and personal time and effort of people who believe in helping people and saving lives.
At Peapack-Gladstone Bank, donating toward our biannual blood drives has become a company-wide effort – and very much worth the effort. On Wednesday, March 14, Peapack-Gladstone Bank, in conjunction with New Jersey Blood Services, held its 13th consecutive Employee Blood Drive at their Corporate Headquarters located at 500 Hills Drive, Bedminster. This year’s spring drive presented 61 donors – collecting 53 products. This is a recording breaking number for the bank! Bridget Walsh, Senior Vice President, Human Resources Director, began the tradition of bank blood drives back in 2006; and over the years, employees of Peapack-Gladstone Bank have been generous in the giving of their time while being proud of their personal contributions.
The growing success of Peapack-Gladstone Bank’s blood drive program shows that Peapack-Gladstone Bank employees care about helping those in need. Thank you to all who donated as an ongoing gift to help those in crisis.
