BORDENTOWN TOWNSHIP: Man killed in predawn crash

   BORDENTOWN TOWNSHIP — Maciej R. Lewandowski, 35, of Yorktown Road, was killed Wednesday morning on Rising Sun Road after the vehicle he was driving in crashed into a wall of the New Jersey Turnpike.
   The Bordentown Township Police Department said in a news release that police responded to the scene at approximately 5:33 a.m. and found that a 2011 silver Infiniti G37 had collided head on into the Turnpike wall on April 11.
   Police said the Mr. Lewandowski had been traveling southbound on Rising Sun Road when he failed to navigate at the intersection of Old York Road.
   Mr. Lewandowski died from apparent injuries he suffered during the collision, police said. He was the only occupant in the Infiniti.
   The Bordentown Township Police Department’s Traffic Unit is conducting an investigation into the matter. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Traffic Unit via 609-298-4300, ext. 2134.
