To the editor:
On April 17, I am voting for Dana Boguszewski and Deena Centofanti for Hillsborough school board. After reading the letters from and about the five candidates in the newspaper and online, I have come to the conclusion that Dana and Deena are the two candidates who will best represent me on the board.
”Represent” is the key word. Our schools are already filled with educational experts who do a great job — from the superintendent to the teachers. What I am looking for in a school board member is something different, someone who is tuned into what I want, what Hillsborough wants, and will be able to communicate that to the school administration.
Dana and Deena both understand that the schools belong to the people, not the administrators or the elitists. I want a first-class school district at a price that I can afford to pay — for all the kids in my community. I believe this is what we all want.
