Mr. Ivanchukov, 86, of Howell, died April 3, 2012, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was born in Bulgaria and came to the United States, settling in Howell, in 1955. As a young adult he played soccer for the Bulgarian National Team and he was an accomplished musician. Mr. Ivanchukov retired as a homebuilder in 2000. He was predeceased by his wife, Katia; and a son, Sandje. Surviving are daughter and caregiver, Nogan Spitzer; two sons, Mandje Ivanchukov of Delaware, and Khyen Ivanchukov of New York; four grandchildren and a great-grandson. A funeral service was held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, followed by interment in St. Vladimir’s Cemetery, Jackson.
