In celebration of National Car Care Month in April, Platt’s Performance Plus Inc. will hold free vehicle inspections and a car show beginning 10 a.m. April 28 at 46 Lincoln Ave., Jamesburg. The rain date will be May 5.
The inspections will include checking fluid levels, tires, lights and other system components. After the completion of the inspection, a representative from Platt’s Performance Plus will review any discrepancies with the motorist and will provide information about proper vehicle maintenance and repair. The goal is to help motorists learn how to “Be Car Care Aware.”
There will also be displays, free food, $100 gift basket raffles and more. Entertainment will be provided by the classic rock band Round Trip.
National Car Care Month is a nationwide effort to focus motorists’ attention on the importance of vehicle care and maintenance. Donations from the car show will benefit the Jamesburg Historical Society and the Jamesburg Food Bank.
