Mr. Natland, 71, a resident of the Melrose section of Sayreville for eight years, died April 9, 2012, at home. Before his retirement, he was employed in the maintenance department of Rondout Valley Central School District for 10 years. Surviving are his wife, Kathi Anthony Natland; his children, Elizabeth Perez and her husband, Nicholas, Kimberly Iqbal, Alex Natland and Michael Natland, all of Melrose, and James Natland of Pennsylvania; two brothers, Alfred Natland and Edward Natland; a sister, Margaret Monaco; and 10 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 8 p.m. April 12 at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin. Private cremation will follow. Calling hours at the funeral home will be 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. April 12.
