Mr. Ettari, 94, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died April 6, 2012, at home. Born in Catania, Sicily, he had resided in Brooklyn, N.Y., before moving to Parlin 12 years ago. Before his retirement, Mr. Ettari was employed as a candy maker for Baracini Candy in Long Island, N.Y. He was predeceased by his wife, Romilda Cardone Ettari, in 2005. Surviving are his children and their spouses, Thomas and Maria Ettari, with whom he lived, and Charles Ettari of Brooklyn; two grandsons; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin, with entombment at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge.
