Local leaders of the franchise industry will host a free educational and networking breakfast at 8 a.m. April 25 for individuals interested in purchasing a franchise business. Justin M. Klein, a franchise attorney with the law firm Marks & Klein, Red Bank, and Virgil Hollender, of the franchise consulting firm The Entrepreneur’s Source, will lead the discussion along with representatives from Benetrends Financial and PNC Bank in the community room at Bella Terra, 2 Kathleen Drive, Jackson. Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood, a Barnabas Health facility, has announced that Denice Gaffney, of Manasquan, has been named vice president of Kimball Foundation Services. Gaffney will plan, manage and direct the foundation by developing and implementing annual and capital campaigns to reach goals established by Kimball Medical Center. Previously, Gaffney served as the director of marketing operations at HealthSouth Rehabilitation in Tinton Falls and Toms River hospitals, where she was part of the senior leadership team. She was responsible for business development, media relations, communications, marketing and staff development.
