Carmine A. Marmo

Mr. Marmo, 71, a resident of Jackson and Hutchinson Island, Fla., died at home on April 9, 2012, after a three-year battle with cancer. He graduated from Kean University and received his master’s degree in education from Seton Hall University. Mr. Marmo was a teacher, principal and assistant superintendent during his 34-year career in Hazlet. He was predeceased by a brother, Frank. Surviving are his wife of more than 45 years, Judy; three sisters, Antoinette, Rose and Carmella; two children, Louis and William; four grandchildren; and many other friends and family. The funeral service and interment were private. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements were by the Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank.
