NEW HOPE — On Saturday and Sunday, visitors to New Hope will step back in time as the town is transformed into a medieval fantasy — the third annual New Hope Fantasy Renaissance Faire.
The two-day event takes place on Mechanic Street and runs from 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
Sponsored by the Greater New Hope Chamber of Commerce, the free event takes place rain or shine!
Jugglers, fire breathers, sword fighting, medieval blacksmithing, pirates, wenches, storytellers, craftsmen, costumed actors, period-influenced musicians and dancers, a medieval drag show, plus food and wine are among the features planned for the event.
”Entering our third year is very exciting as the faire continues to grow with more dynamic performances, merchants and overall activities for the entire family to enjoy,” said organizer, Michael McManus.
