Mr. Molokie, 80, a resident of East Brunswick for 40 years, died April 7, 2012, at his residence. Prior to retiring in 1994, Mr. Molokie was an investment portfolio manager for Bristol Myers in New York City. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Molokie played minor league baseball for the PhiladelphiaAthletics and was active in the East Brunswick Managers. Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Marie Holand Molokie; a daughter, Peggy Pako and her husband, John, of Old Bridge; a son, Leon Jr. and his wife, Vicki, of Cream Ridge; a daughter, Elizabeth Hughes and her husband, Tom, of Monroe; a brother, Edward and his wife, Alice, of Kings Tree, S.C.; a sister, Helen Doyle and her husband, Jim, of Wellington, Fla.; and five grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick. Interment followed at Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to any veterans charity.
