Mr. Hobbs, 60, of Piscataway and formerly of Old Bridge, died April 18, 2012, at home. A Navy veteran, he was the plant manager for Sunshine Biscuit, Sayreville, for 20 years before becoming the plant manager for Saker ShopRite Bakeries in Freehold. He was plant supervisor for Automatic Rolls, Edison, before his retirement. Surviving are his wife, Anne Johnson DeAnthony Hobbs; three sons, Chad, Shaun and Paul, all of Jackson; a daughter, Alyse, of Jackson; two stepsons, Dominick DeAnthony of South Plainfield and Matthew DeAnthony of Piscataway; two brothers, John J. Hobbs, of Freehold, and Kevin Hobbs, of Freehold; two sisters, Rosemary Sebring, of Jackson, and Kathleen Kelly Sansone, of Howell; and five grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. Interment with military honors followed at Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Arrangements were by Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick.
