An Animal Reiki I class is being offered from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. May 4 at Evenflow Yoga Studio, on the third floor at 10W. End Court in Long Branch. The proceeds will benefit the homeless cats and dogs of The Little Silver Animal Hospital Foundation and Rescue Ridge, a lastchance rescue shelter in Monmouth and Ocean counties.
The class cost is $200 and includes Reiki IAttunement, Reiki I certificate, as well as all class materials and course book. The class will be taught by Caly Lehrer, an animal reiki master/teacher and founder of Peace-By-Peace LLC.
Reiki is a Japanese form of holistic healing, which many say reduces stress, restores depleted energy and promotes healing and relaxation. The benefits of Reiki are being acknowledged more and more by the medical community.
