New Egypt Day will be held May 12 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in historic downtown New Egypt at Oakford Lake and across the pedestrian bridge on the Presbyterian Church grounds.
This year’s festivities will include face painting, pony rides, inflatable rides, a trackless train, paddleboat rides, food, music and vendors.
Main Street New Egypt, Plumsted Township and the Plumsted Business and Merchants Association sponsor the annual event. Admission is free. A $6 per-child wristband is required for unlimited kids’ activities.
