Sacred Heart School will hold dedication

Sacred Heart School, South Amboy, will host a luncheon event observing the anniversaries of Sacred Heart jubilee graduates, along with honoring a parish family, an alumnus and a teacher.

“Celebrating Dedicated Hearts,” a luncheon event, will be held 1:30 p.m. April 29 at the school, 229 Cedar St., South Amboy.

The Janas family will be honored for their generations of support for Sacred Heart. Dr. Edward Merski, class of 1966, will be feted as an outstanding alumnus of the school, and Mrs. Valerie Romer, class of 1972, will be celebrated for her many years of dedication as a Catholic schoolteacher at Sacred Heart.
