Mrs. Blitzer, 102, of East Brunswick, died April 7, 2012. She was born in Sweden and immigrated to New York in 1911. A gifted seamstress, she studied women’s clothing design and worked throughout much of her life as a bookkeeper. Mrs. Blitzer was preceded in death by her husband, Murray; three sisters, Dora, Stella and Esther; and two brothers, Zelig and Benny. Surviving are two sons, George and Herbert and his wife, Caterina; a daughter, Diane Blitzer Jones and her husband, Milt; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and four great-greatgrandchildren. Arrangements were by The Crabiel Home for Funerals, Milltown.
