What’s different now?

Hopewell Township
The upcoming ELSA bond referendum vote is the result of the actions of a small Democrat-led group. This group is working to derail the efforts of the majority of the Hopewell Township Committee. When Vanessa Sandom was mayor she was trying to negotiate a deal for double the capacity of the current settlement. Obviously, she was in favor of sewering this portion of Hopewell Township at that time. What is different now?
We all know that many homes and businesses in this area of the township have long suffered with failing septic systems. We now have the opportunity to correct this long-standing problem. Let’s support this referendum and vote yes on May 8. We don’t want to be still talking about this 20 years from now!
