Saturday, May 5 — Hillsborough High Band members will wash cars from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Hillsborough Elementary School, Route 206 and Amwell Road. Cars $5 and vans $7.
Kehilat Shalom
to hold open house
Sunday, May 6 — Congregation Kehilat Shalom is holding a congregational and religious school open house from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Rabbi Susan Falk and Shari Rothstein, the school principal, will lead a tour. Visit over bagels and coffee, and get a car wash from members of Kehi-Loft, the Hebrew high school.

spring blood drive
Sunday, May 6 — Spring blood drive, 8 a.m.-1:15 p.m., at Temple Beth-El, 67 Route 206. Donor appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome. May 10-12 — The Neshanic MOPS ( Mothers Of Preschoolers) group will hold a children’s toys and clothing sale at $1 per item at Neshanic Reformed Church, 715 Amwell Road, on Thursday from 9-2, Friday from 9-2 and Saturday from 9-11 a.m. Items can be dropped off for donation until May 10.

Friday, May 11 — American Red Cross will hold an open blood drive from 2-8 p.m. at the Hillsborough Family YMCA, 19 E. Mountain Road. Individuals should be 17 years of age (16 with parental permission), meet weight and height requirements (110 pounds or more, depending on their height) and are in generally good health. Friday, May 18 — Hillsborough Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 presents a night of comedy headlining are Bonnie McFarland and Rich Vos. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door. Doors open 7:30 p.m. and the show starts at 9 at the Polish Falcons Camp, 140 Falcon Road.

Flagtown organizes
townwide yard sale
Saturday, May 19 — The Flagtown Residents Association is hosting a town-wide sale on from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Rain date is May 20.
There is a $10 participation fee for those homeowners. Each home will get an official yard sale sign; red, white and blue balloons; listed on the map, and benefit from advertising.
To register, mail a $10 check made out to the Flagtown Residents Association to P.O. Box 173, Flagtown 08821. Include name, street address (not post office box number), e-mail address and phone number.
