The Woodbridge Township Republican Organization (WTRO) is accepting applications for its annual Leadership Award. Applicants must reside in Woodbridge Township and be high school seniors who plan to attend college starting this fall.
Students are asked to answer the following question: Is the U.S. Constitution still relevant today? All essays should be no more than 500 words in length. Essays will be judged by a panel of WTRO representatives (educators, business people and county committee people) based on originality, poignancy, clarity and creativity. This year’s winner will receive a $250 check from the WTRO.
Applications — which are due by Monday, May 7 — can be downloaded at www.woodbridgetwprepublicans.com and are also available through the guidance office. For questions or additional information about the award, email [email protected].
