The Princeton University League is hosting an art exhibition featuring works by Vittorio Sciolli at 171 Broadmead, 2nd floor. The opening reception is Friday, May 18 from 5-8 pm. Refreshments will be served. The Gallery hours are Saturday, May 19 from 11 am to 6 pm and Sunday, May 20 from noon to 4 pm. Please come by and meet the artist. Parking is free and available just outside the building.
Vittorio Sciolli-Claverie is a painter working in the Washington, DC area. He received his Bachelors Degree from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Painting, and is currently working towards his Masters in Architecture at the University of Maryland, College Park. Vittorio worked as a resident artist from September of 2010 to September 2011 at the Lee Arts Center in Arlington, VA, and has shown in several galleries around the DC area. His work ranges from painting to printmaking to sculpture, maintaining a strong focus on the human figure.
