The Suburban Artist Guild of Central New Jersey (SAG) will hold its next monthly meeting 2 p.m. May 11 at the East Brunswick Public Library, Jean Walling Civic Center.
Well-known artist Leslie Delgyer will present a demonstration and mini-workshop on using pastels to paint animal portraits. As a wildlife artist, Delgyer has worked to spread awareness of the plight of endangered species and their disappearing habitats. She was commissioned by the World Wildlife Fund to work on its conservationstamp collection. Her portraits of former President Ronald Reagan’s dogs hang in the Reagan Presidential Library and Museum in California.
