Attorney Gary Nissenbaum will present information about past and current cases on the legal docket of the American Civil Liberties Union of New Jersey at 1 p.m. May 12 at the Monroe Township Public Library, 4 Municipal Plaza. Learn how the cases impact your civil liberties both in New Jersey and nationally.
Nissenbaum has been a member of the board of trustees of the American Civil Liberties Union of New Jersey since 2008. He has been involved in cases challenging the secrecy of the Office of Homeland Security’s Potential Threat Element program, the Pentagon’s surveillance of student demonstrators at William Paterson University, and First Amendment rights of the Montclair State University newspaper.
