Mrs. Craney, 89, of South River, died April 26, 2012, at home. She was a self-employed cook for many years, retiring in 1989 from Sperry Univac, Dayton section of South Brunswick. She was predeceased by her husband, Andrew Rice; a daughter, Monica Bogusz; two brothers, Bernard and Edward Muraszko; and two sisters, Anna Staump and Leona Dominiec. Surviving are her husband, Clyde Craney; four daughters and their husbands, Patricia Ann and Robert Smith and Loretta and Thomas Stanik, all of South River, Margaret and JohnWytanis of Freehold and Deborah and Gary Pfeifer of Baltimore; a son-in-law, Thomas Bogusz of Barnegat; two brothers, Raymond Muraszko of Pennsylvania and Stanley Muraszko of East Brunswick; three sisters, Lorraine and Patricia Twardos of Old Bridge and Dorothy Kato of Georgia; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Corpus Christi Church, South River. Interment was in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick. Arrangements were under the direction of Maliszewski Funeral Home, South River.
