Mrs. Mastorio, 81, of Spotswood, formerly of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died April 23, 2012, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. She was predeceased by her husband, Samuel Mastorio Sr., in 1999; a daughter, Mary Jane Szurlej; and a granddaughter, Melissa Bessette. Surviving are five sons and three daughters in-law, Samuel and Denise Mastorio of Spotswood, Joseph and Carol Mastorio of Cliffwood Beach, Roy Mastorio of Sayreville, Frank Mastorio of Cliffwood Beach, and Mike and Donna Mastorio of Sayreville; a brother, Paul Dolman, and his wife, Joan; a sister, Minnie Ann Doran, and her husband, Robert, of Florida; 17 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin, followed by burial at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick.
