NJ Home Remodeler Partners with Anderson House to Support Women Achieve Long Term Recovery and Independence
Somerville Aluminum, a NJ Home Remodeling company located in downtown Somerville, is pleased to join forces with Anderson House, providing a safe environment to NJ women recovering from alcoholism and drug addiction.
Somerville, NJ-May 4, 2012-Remodeling NJ since 1950, Somerville Aluminum has always endeavored to give back to the surrounding Central New Jersey communities who have given so much to them. The two organizations came together when Somerville Aluminum remodeled the exterior of the Anderson House transitional residence in White House Station. Inspired by the work the non-profit organization provides to local women in need, Somerville Aluminum signed on to sponsor the Anderson House Golf Outing, being held at the Stanton Ridge Golf and Country Club on June 4th.
In addition, Somerville Aluminum has agreed to provide long-term financial support to Anderson House by donating $200 for every home remodeling project completed over $2000 when the homeowner mentions Anderson House at the time of sale. This promotion can be combined with any other valid Somerville Aluminum promotion.
“We feel it is important to give back to the community, people helping people. Providing assistance, even in the smallest way, can make a difference in the lives of these women who so greatly want to return to a normal, productive life. Anderson House provides them with the chance. We are happy to support them any way we can,” states Gary Shiman, co-owner of Somerville Aluminum.
The mission of Anderson House is to provide quality treatment to women recovering from addiction while helping them develop the necessary goals and life skills to return to the community as responsible, sober and productive individuals. The halfway house, located in Flemington, NJ, is committed to serving all women regardless of their ability to pay, hence rely on the generosity of local businesses to support their dedication to helping women build new lives for themselves and their children.
Jan Holmstrup, Executive Director of Anderson House, is excited about the partnership; “We’re excited about our growing partnership with Somerville Aluminum. After the sage advice and superb workmanship of Somerville Aluminum, the Anderson House transitional residence will continue to serve as a safe, supportive and affordable home for women recovering for many years to come. We have also selected the Somerville Aluminum team for window replacement at our second transitional residence.
The fact that they have made a financial commitment in support of our efforts further shows the dedication Somerville Aluminum has to its local community.”
