HILLSBOROUGH: Attics, garages empty for Flagtown yard sale

Band saw, table saw, hand saw, seesaws and just about any other tool you can imagine at the Flagtown Residents’ Association town-wide sale Saturday, May 19, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
A village as diverse as the Flagtown section of Hillsborough has homes, garages, attics, basements and closets filled with unique items.
According to Sherry Marchie, the event co-chair, “the town-wide sale has been a great way to re-connect with our neighbors and meet the folks new to Flagtown. We are looking at the sale as the first step in revitalizing the residents’ association.”
Need a Henri-Lloyd Ocean foul weather jacket and hi-fit trousers to go with the boating equipment, and inflatable life vest you’ll find?
Planning a road trip? Flagtown’s got a 12-volt cooler for the car and CB radio.
Other unique items include musical instruments, cast iron wood burning stove, original art work, clothes in all sizes and the 1950’s “Daily News” red metal newspaper stand used at the Flagtown Humble House Luncheonette.
Antique buffs will appreciate antique oak dining room chairs, Victorian loveseat, Victorian ladies glide rocker and lanterns from the Jersey Central train line.
