MANVILLE: Games keep seniors at play at center

May is Older American’s Month, and the Manville Senior Center will offer special programs and activities that reinforce the month’s theme of “Never too Old to Play.”
Clients will “play” while exercising the mind and body and while learning a hobby. Attendance points will be given in the month to qualify for a prize.
The center on South Third Avenue offers food, fellowship and fun on weekdays.
The Manville Recreation Department leads lightweight exercise on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:15–10:45 a.m., and “walk and chair” exercise on Mondays and Wednesdays, 9:30–10:30 a.m.
Bingo is played every Wednesday at 11:15 a.m. Birthdays are recognized on the fourth Wednesday of the month.
The center’s hours are 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Its phone is 908-526-0175.
