An outdoor concert event, “Jazz Under the Stars,” will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, June 15, in the courtyard at Manville High School, 1100 Brooks Blvd.
The evening will be filled with a toe-tapping repertoire of Big Band and swing music performed by the Garden State Jazz Orchestra. Additional performers include the Manville High School Jazz Band and vocalists.
The event is sponsored by the Manville Music Organization. Concert proceeds will benefit the Manville High School music program.
Concert tickets are $15 each and can be purchased by mail, by phone or from band members. An order form is available at manvillemusic.wordpress.com , or by calling 908-231-6806, ext. 8513. Tickets will also be sold at the door. In the event of inclement weather, a rain date is scheduled for June 16.
Parking is available in the lot adjacent to North 9th Avenue. To access the courtyard, enter the building through the gymnasium doors.
