Lt. Lance Maloney reported:
May 1 at 1:22 a.m., Officer Kevin Koveloski responded to the Quick Chek for the report of an armed robbery.
According to store employees a man wearing a white plastic mask walked into the store displaying a knife in his hand and told an employee to come to the cash register. When the employee refused to go near the cash register, the man took the cash drawer portion of the register and fled in a red minivan, which headed toward Hopewell Borough on Route 654.
The man was described as being stocky, 5-foot 6-inch to 5-foot 9-inches in height, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, dark sneakers and thick grey gloves.
Bruce W. Clark, 53, of Harbourton-Woodsville Road, Pennington, was charged with drunken driving April 25 at 9:34 p.m.
Officer Louis Vastola responded to Poor Farm Road for the report of a one-car crash.
A 2002 Porsche Boxster, driven by Mr. Clark, had left the road and crashed through two mailboxes, police said.
Mr. Clark was taken to a local hospital by the Pennington First Aid Squad where he was treated for minor injuries and released.
He also was charged with reckless driving and failure to keep right and released to a relative.
Officer Sara Erwin responded to a Shrewsbury Court address for the report of a burglary May 1 at 10:52 p.m.
Sometime between 7:15 a.m. April 30 and 10:50 p.m. May 1, someone entered the unlocked townhouse and removed cash and jewelry from the home.
The loss was estimated at $1,630.
Officer Gerard Infantino responded to a Manley Road address at 6:45 a.m. for the report of a car burglary May 3.
Sometime overnight, someone entered an unlocked car parked in front of the home and removed cash, prescription medicines and work files.
The loss was estimated at $1,765.
Stanley J. Davis, 25, of Sanford Street, Trenton, was charged with hindering apprehension May 2 at 3:44 p.m. in Hopewell Township.
Officer Christopher Vaccarino clocked a car traveling at 43 mph in a 25-mph zone along Maddock Road.
Mr. Davis originally provided a false name, police said. Mr. Davis had a suspended driver’s license and 10 warrants from Trenton, police said.
Mr. Davis was turned over to the Trenton Police Department.
