A Teen Volunteer Fair will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. at the South Brunswick Library, 110 Kingston Lane, Monmouth Junction, in Meeting Room A/B. Teens and young adults seeking volunteer positions can connect with those organizations who need volunteers. There will be information about short- and long-term volunteer opportunities.

Bnai Tikvah Daytimers Club will meet at 1 p.m. at Congregation Bnai Tikvah (AKA Jewish Community of North and South Jersey). A Karaoke dance will be held by American Legion Post 401, 148 Major Road, South Brunswick at 8:30 p.m. The karaoke is free and open to the public. For information call 732-329-9861.
Sat., May 19
A fundraising Arts and Crafts Festival (Juried Show) will be held by the Pioneer Grange No. 1 of Dayton at the South Brunswick Parks and Recreation Center in Woodlot Park, located west of Route 1 at 124 New Road, Monmouth Junction, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Entrance donation $2, kids under 12 free. The festival is co-sponsored by the South Brunswick Parks and Recreation Department.
The Stop and Shop of Dayton, 24 Summerfield Blvd, Dayton, will host an event to benefit the Make-A-Wish from 1 to 9 p.m. The event includes eight local musicians, a small car and motorcycle show. Vendors will be on hand with product demo’s and giveaways. There will be raffles throughout the day.
Painter Michael Ciccotello will present an exhibition of his work called “Connect” on Saturday, May 19, and Sunday, May 20, at DiGiovanni Photography Studio, 4577 Route 27, Kingston. The reception will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, May 19, followed by an open house 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 20. Mr. Ciccotello will be painting in front of the studio on Sunday, weather permitting. These events are free and open to the public.

Preparing Today for Tomorrow: Discovering Your Home Care/Care Giving Options, a participatory forum bringing together leaders and innovators from multiple sectors is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the South Brunswick Public Works Building in the Municipal Complex Route 522W. Lowell Arye, deputy commissioner of N.J .Department of Human Services, is the headline speaker. The forum is designed to inform the boomer and sandwich generations about resources for determining how and why “aging in place” can be a viable option.
