LAWRENCE: Police blotter

   A Johnson Avenue resident reported the theft of a 55-inch flat screen TV, a wristwatch and shoes, valued at a combined $2,450, from his home between 3:30 p.m. May 13 and 1:14 a.m. May 14. Entry was made through a first-floor window.
   A 32-inch TV was taken from a Zoar Street home between 10 a.m. May 12 and 9:56 p.m. May 13. Entry was made through a first-floor window.
   A 2011 Mercedes-Benz 550SL roadster belonging to a Scotch Plains resident was reported stolen from the Greenacres Country Club on Route 206 at 5:10 p.m. May 13, after the owner left the keys inside the unlocked car.
   An Altamawr Avenue resident reported the theft of a laptop computer and a Dewalt drill, worth a combined $1,350, from his work truck after a thief smashed the passenger’s side window to gain entry between 9 p.m. May 13 and 7:30 a.m. May 14.
   Video game consoles, a stereo and a CB radio were taken from a motor home parked at a Drift Avenue residence between May 6 and May 13. The items were valued at a combined $1,200.
   Two Trenton teenagers, ages 15 and 16, were charged with shoplifting an assortment of clothing valued at a combined $245.48 from Lord & Taylor at the Quaker Bridge Mall at 1:44 p.m. May 11.
   An Altamawr Avenue resident reported the theft of $70 in cash plus an assortment of Atlantic City casino cards from his unlocked 2008 Chevrolet Impala between 10 p.m. May 10 and 7 a.m. May 11.
   A Trenton man reported the theft of his 1995 Buick sedan from the parking lot of the Red Roof Inn on Brunswick Pike between 4 a.m. and 8 a.m. May 10. He went to the motel with a woman, who left around 4 a.m. He noticed the car missing a few hours later.
   Madinah A. Kelley, 28, of Metuchen, Yafra Yenire Suarez, 23, of Somerset, and a 17-year-old girl from Somerset were charged with shoplifting clothing worth a combined $668.37 from Lord & Taylor at the Quaker Bridge Mall at 4:58 p.m. May 9.
   An arson fire destroyed a roll of discarded carpet on the grounds of the demolished Saturn Chemical Co. plant on New York Avenue around noon May 7. Firefighters extinguished the fire before investigating police officers’ arrival.
   Fourteen bottles of perfume, valued at a combined $714, were reported stolen from the Victoria’s Secret store at the Quaker Bridge Mall between 6 p.m. and 6:50 p.m. May 8.
   A Pantech cell phone, valued at $475, was reported stolen from a Brunswick Avenue residence between 1 a.m. and 9 a.m. May 9. The burglar entered through a first-floor kitchen window.
   A tailgate, valued at $1,924, was reported stolen from a newly delivered 2012 Ford pickup truck at the Lawrenceville Ford- Lincoln dealership on Brunswick Pike between 8 a.m. May 7 and 2 p.m. May 9.
   Dwaine L. Whitaker Jr., 20, of Trenton, was charged with shoplifting three Polo-brand shirts and a Polo-brand hat worth a total of $312 at Macy’s at the Quaker Bridge Mall at 8:42 p.m. May 9.
