POLICE BLOTTER: May 18

   April 24 at 5 p.m., several calls were placed to police about a driver speeding, swerving and running the stop sign on South Main Street in the area of Ward Street.
   Officers stopped the driver, Alberto Negron, 45, of Hamilton, who struck the curb, police said. Two open containers of alcoholic beverages were in the vehicle, police said.
   Police said the blood alcohol content was zero, and Mr. Negron was under the influence of a narcotic.
   He was released to a family member.
   April 25 at 3:59 p.m. on Mercer Street, police arrested Jeffrey Wilkins, 22, of Trenton, on warrants for contempt of court and failure to comply with a judicial order.
   He also was charged with failure to wear a seatbelt.
   Police said Mr. Wilkins was stopped for going 36 mph in a 25-mph zone. A check revealed the warrants from Hamilton Township Municipal Court for $250 and the violation of a final restraining order.
   Bail was set at $1,000 with a 10 percent option for violation of the restraining order, and Mr. Wilkins was released later upon posting bail.
   April 28 at 1:53 a.m. on Stockton Street, police charged Natasha Hardcastle, 32, of Plainsboro, with speeding, drunken driving, drunken driving in a school zone and careless driving.
   Ms. Hardcastle was driving 39 mph in a 25-mph zone, police said. Her blood alcohol content was .09 percent, police said.
   She was released to a friend.
   April 30 at 11:40 a.m. at the Hightstown Housing Authority, police charged Christian Rosario, 20 of St. James Place, East Windsor, with defiant trespassing.
   Mr. Rosario, who is banned from the property, was seen in the area by police. Officers conducted a foot patrol to monitor the area and saw Mr. Rosario enter and walk around the courtyard.
   Mr. Rosario was released without bail.
   May 1 at 6:50 p.m. on South Main Street, police charged Timothy Kovacs, 23, of Allentown, with possession of marijuana under 50 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle and failure to inspect.
   Mr. Kovacs was stopped for failure to inspect his vehicle. After smelling the odor of burnt marijuana, a K-9 search found the drug as well as a pipe with marijuana in the interior compartment of the vehicle.
   He was released without bail.
East Windsor
   Kaitlynn Clark, 19, of Trenton, was charged with forgery and theft.
   Detective Jason Hart arrested Ms. Clark after a Greenwich Court resident said that between noon April 27 and 2 p.m. April 29, their checkbook and wallet were stolen from their residence.
   Ms. Clark allegedly took the victim’s wallet and checkbook and wrote out several checks totaling $180, forging the victim’s signature.
   She was released without bail.
   Daniel Csontos, 25, of Rembrandt Way, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of prescription drugs without a prescription at 12:43 p.m. May 2.
   Police received a report of a suspicious male walking on Rembrandt Way. Officer Paul Wille detected the odor of marijuana, and Mr. Csontos was found to be in possession of the drug, police said.
   He was released after posting bail on an unrelated Monroe Township Municipal Court warrant.
   A complainant reported his/her vehicle was scratched with a sharp object while it was parked in a lot sometime between noon and 2:04 p.m. May 6 on Airport Road.
   Damage is estimated at $250. The incident is under investigation.
   Kristopher Robshaw, 26, of Piscataway, and Russell Pornovets, 21, of Plainfield, were charged with forgery and theft at 3:30 p.m. May 5 at Rite Aid.
   Officer Troy McWhorter arrested Mr. Robshaw after he allegedly presented a fraudulent prescription. Mr. Pornovets was arrested while trying to leave as police arrived and allegedly had prescription drugs without a prescription.
   Mr. Robshaw also was charged with prescription fraud and taken to Mercer County Correctional Center in lieu of $20,000 bail with a 10 percent cash option.
   Mr. Pornovets also was charged with possession of prescription drugs with a prescription and was released after posting 10 percent of $10,000 bail.
   Paul Sucozhanay, 28, of Abbington Drive, was charged with drunken driving at 1:30 a.m. May 5 while driving on Probasco Road.
   Officer Michael Adelung saw a 1998 Dodge swerving onto the shoulder of the road while on Route 33, police said. It was operated erratically, police said, so it was stopped,
   Mr. Sucozhanay also was charged with reckless driving, careless driving, failure to maintain lane, failure to wear a seatbelt, failure to exhibit a driver’s license, failure to exhibit a vehicle registration and having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.
   Someone reported that an unknown person had taken his/her bicycle from the bike rack at the Mercer County Library at the Hickory Corner Road Branch sometime between 10 a.m. and noon May 4.
   The incident is under investigation.
   A resident reported that someone scratched their vehicle with a sharp object sometime between 11 p.m. May 3 and 10:55 a.m. May 4.
   Damage is estimated at $499 The incident is under investigation.
   Someone reported that their patio set was stolen from their porch sometime between 8 p.m. May 6 and 8:30 a.m. May 7.
   The patio set was estimated to be worth $100. The incident is under investigation.
