Meet and hear local children’s author Carole Robinson talk about her first book, “On the Way to Cape May,” on Saturday, June 30, at 10:30 a.m.
Written for a third-grade reading level, this book is the story of Ashley and Emily’s summer vacation with their grandparents and their adventures visiting all different places around New Jersey.
Or is it? Ashley is convinced she keeps seeing the neighbor’s animals everywhere they go. But how could a zedonk, a donkey and two pigmy goats possibly keep up with them?
All ages are welcome to attend. Copies of the book will be available for sale from the author at the conclusion of the program.
Enjoy an hour of pampering your feet and yourself with a relaxing Fabulous Foot Spa on Sunday, June 3, at 1:30 p.m.

Change from “stressed” to “rested” with help from the stress management program Thursday, June 14, at 6 p.m.
Presented by Carol Rocco, a veteran registered nurse with the Moorestown Visiting Nurses Association, this stress management class is an interactive program, which helps people identify their particular stressors and to develop a personal stress management plan.
You may not be able to control life’s pressures, but you can control how you react to them.
Space is limited so registration is requested for this free program. Reserve a seat by registering online, calling the library or in person. Walk-ins are welcome, but may not be accommodated.
Adult programs
Wholesome Parenting support group is a program for parents of infants and toddlers that meets the first Monday of the month.
Discuss challenges and share strengths in regard to — but not limited to — feeding, sleeping, disciplining and socializing children.
Children are welcome. Bring quiet toys for them to play with and share. Registration is not required.

The library will be showing a movie matinee Mondays, June 11 and 25, at 2:30 p.m.
While the movie license forbids the library from saying what the titles are, here are some clues.
The movie on June 11 is about a golfer who gets his swing back with the help of a mysterious caddy. And June 25, “if we build it, they will come.”
For the actual movie titles, call the library.

The second Tuesday of each month, the library hosts a book discussion group.
The book choice for the June 12 program is “Unbroken” by Lauren Hillenbrand.

Yoga & Relaxation will have its monthly class Sunday, June 17, at 1:15 p.m.
It is the practice of observing, focusing and stilling the mind and body to bring clarity and discover wisdom and peace within.
Registration starts May 20 and is required for this program.
Join Dawn Nikithser as she leads our monthly creative writing workshop Wednesday, June 13, at 7 p.m.
Ms. Nikithser is a corporate copywriter by day and a creatrix by night.
The workshop is a way to share ideas and get constructive criticism in a friendly, but functional atmosphere. All genres and ideas are welcome in all forms.
Bring a notebook and pen or a laptop. Registration is requested, but walk-ins are welcome.
Casual Knitting Club is a new monthly program for adults that will start Wednesday, June 20, at 6:30 p.m.
It is open to all levels of knitting — including people who want to learn. The club is open to those who want to chat and knit with others.
Attendees can pick up tips and pointers from others while working on their own projects.
Those who are new to knitting and want to learn should bring size 10 needles and red heart yarn.
Registration is not required.
Wii for seniors is a video game experience for seniors.
Play games on the big screen in the comfort and company of peers. The June program will be Wednesday, June 27, at 10:30 a.m.
This program does not require registration.
Computer classes
Computer Basics is a class designed to give the essentials for people who are new to using a computer.
Learn the basics of computer terminology and how to get around in a computer environment.
Computer Basics will be held Tuesday, June 5, at 2 p.m. Register in person, on the phone or online. Participants need a library card to register.
Facebook for Beginners is a class that sshow people just about everything they should know when signing up for the service.
From signing up to adding updates and pictures to managing privacy, Andy the librarian will take participants step by step through the process.
Facebook is a way of staying in contact with family and friends both near and far.
The class will be held Tuesday, June 12, at 2 p.m. Register in person or online. Participants need a library card to register and an email address.
Internet Searching is a class for both newcomers and those wanting to brush up on their Internet skills.
Participants are taught what all the different buttons in the Internet browser mean as well as some basic search tips and practices.
It will be held Tuesday, June 19, at 2 p.m. Register in person, on the phone or online. Participants need a library card to register.
Microsoft Excel 2010 Basics will teach the basics of Microsoft Excel 2010 on Tuesday, June 26, at 2 p.m.
This class will go over the functions on the different toolbars. Learn to create spreadsheets and use simply formulas for work and personal use. Computer experience using the mouse and keyboard is required.
